About Penne

Penne has worked in the insurance industry for over 20 years, beginning her career through high school work experience and building extensive experience across a diverse range of industries, including transport, mining, construction and more.

Since 2013, Penne has specialised in the Transport Industry, developing a deep understanding of the unique risks and challenges faced by transport operators. Her experience as a Heavy Motor Underwriter has provided valuable underwriting expertise, which, combined with her extensive broking knowledge, enables Penne to provide clients with informed, practical and tailored insurance solutions.

Penne was recognised as one of Insurance Business Australia’s Elite Women in both 2025 and 2026, reflecting her contribution to the insurance industry and her commitment to supporting the wider industry.

Penne is passionate about the Transport Industry and actively contributes to its development through advocacy, education and engagement. She joined the Board of Directors of Transport Women Australia Limited in 2021 and concluded her tenure in 2026, having held the position of Vice Chair. Penne remains involved with Transport Women Australia Limited as a member and through its Governance Sub-Committee.

Outside of her professional role, Penne enjoys giving back to the Transport Industry through volunteering and attending events. You may see her out and about, so if you see her, please come and say hello!
