As a Senior Account Executive, you will take charge of a portfolio of premium clients, offering tailored insurance solutions while building long-term relationships. You will play a key role in business development, team collaboration, and achieving growth objectives. Reporting directly to the Account Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to shape strategies and ensure client satisfaction while mentoring junior team members and upholding compliance standards.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of high-value clients, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
- Develop and implement strategic account plans to drive business growth and capture new opportunities.
- Act as a trusted advisor, providing expert insurance advice and resolving queries promptly.
- Maintain and strengthen client relationships through regular communication, meetings, and industry networking.
- Ensure full compliance with industry regulations (RG 146 and RG 271) and internal policies.
- Mentor and lead Account Executives and interns, fostering a collaborative and high- performing team.
- Oversee claims handling, ensuring timely and favourable settlements for clients.
- Prepare and present professional reports and proposals to clients.
What You’ll Bring:
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in insurance broking, including commercial and corporate sectors.
- Diploma of Financial Services (mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of insurance products, claims processes, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven success in managing high-value accounts, achieving growth, and meeting revenue targets.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in insurance accounting systems, CRM software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
